Coping Resources

COVID-19 Coronavirus – Useful Coping Strategies

Worry about Covid-19 Coronavirus can cause us to feel anxious and upset. The following resource focuses on strategies to help us cope with anxiety. It is useful for everyone, especially those feeling anxious, restless or afraid. It has also been designed to be inclusive of people with visual challenges, as well as those with neurological conditions, such as people living with dementia and their carers, families and friends.

The information has been adapted from FACE COVID-19 (Dr Russ Harris, 2020) by Sophie Trees, Molly Laybourn and Dr Sally Stapleton, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

We are also very grateful to the professional translators who have volunteered their time and skill pro-bono to provide versions of the information in various languages and to Thomas Preece for website development. Translation coordination and DTP have been provided by Sprig of Heather. If you are a qualified professional translator and would like to donate a translation in a language not yet covered, please contact Sprig of Heather.
